I don't find it very good this time. The last one at Suntec was better.

Overall, the books seem pricier than other fairs. Some horrible series titles seen but those are $6 a piece. I think it's only good if one is looking for non fiction titles, those may not be available in other fairs. Also good for kiddy books, eg saw some Diego titles at $2 a book, and a fair number of picture books.


Actually the value buys are the same price as those on the other tables, so I still dun geddit why it's value buys.

Saw some dr Seuss DVD/computer cds that I've never seen before. Those are about $12-13 a title.

I got some non fiction titles and a couple of classics. Otherwise not much finds.

My DS took one of those DVDs :stupid:

And I bought it thinking DH had chosen it. :slapshead:

If it turns out to be a stupid buy, gonna :spank: DS for it. :rant:

Yup, mine took 3 weeks as well

Once I got it like 1 week... :shock:

But 3 weeks also have before.

For the times card, if you don’t have that; but have the ntuc plus card, they give you a free book if you spend above $100.

Is anyone going to the MPH Book Sale at Expo today? Thinking if I should go. Any feedback on previous booksales?

The bookfair will only start at 3pm. So far, past sales have been quite alright but it depends on what you want to get. MPH is better for fiction titles.
