      skunk:
Piercing at such a young age will not be aesthetically pleasing later on, as the child's earlobes will still grow and change in shape, u might find the ear-hole moving up or to a weird position.

Although i myself have 3 ear-holes from my rebellious teenaged days (im a daddy btw LOL), i am now very discouraging of piercing.

Many nerves criss-cross our body, especially at our earlobes/ears. The piercing might influence the health/body in subtle ways we might not be so aware of. Just consult any TCM practicioner and they will share the same comments. From what i know, really traditional Indian people only pierce at places after consulting someone who knows Ayuvedra (is it spelt this way?).

Anyway, think about it, it's a bloody wound that's prevented from healing. To me, it's as \"beautiful\" as

      Grotesque!!

        Hi,

Can anyone pls advise where can I bring my DD to pierce her ears? She has been pestering me to do so. I need to pierce both ears at the same time, as I do not want her to regret and refuse to continue after feeling pain for 1 side.

Please share the cost, what are the earring range and price, and the exact location / shop name. Thanks so much for your effort.

I did mine 4 times in my life.

          3 times at GP/family doctor.
          Once before wedding at Far
          East Plaza. Just one shot
with the gun and voila! All
          done..

          Jewellery shop does
          ear piercing too. šŸ˜‰

          Cost if i recall correctly
          below 20 dollars, inclu
          a small bottle of spirit.

Try Bedazzled, they do both together. Goldheart is one at a time n I believe most jewellers use this method.

Thanks, Bud. However, GP / family doctor cannot pierce 2 ears at the same time as they normally have 1 gun only. My DD only 5 so expect after the 1st shot 😢

Thanks, ksi. Where is Bedazzled? So I can buy the earrings from them and they are in gold?

Pen88n, not sure of your location, but I know of one goldsmith shop in Hougang that used to do ear piercing, both sides at the same time, and price is rather reasonable too. Can choose from a variety of ear studs.

Name of shop is called Yong Seng Goldsmith, located at Blk 682 Hougang Avenue 4. This is the number that I googled and found, 63862006, not sure if they have changed the number though. Can call them to check if they still do ear piercing.

I had mine pierced by them as a little girl at the age of 5, vain lah, so asked my mum to bring me there to have my ears pierced. Didn't cry at all, because I wanted it, after that, so proud of myself! šŸ˜›

the aunty that pierced your ears must be of very good skill !

then again, her hands may be shaky now because of old age šŸ˜‰

When I saw your name on this thread, my first thought was, what is a man doing in this thread, with no daughter somemore! šŸ˜›

Think was the owner, a man who pierced my ears then. At that time, there wasn't such a thing like the gun that they use nowadays. He rubbed some ginger mixture and used a straightened ear ring to pierce my ears! One at a time!

Don't frighten people okay! Imagine the man who pierced my ears is still around! Don't think I dare to recommend him to anyone even if he is still around! You know how many decades have passed since I had my ears pierced? šŸ˜‰
