Best school uniform?

schellen:
i like my daughter's new uniform.
I like the PE attire too....feels like those 'dry-tech' materials (not our good old cotton type - do they already made PE attires that good nowadays?) and no need to tuck in! -
Heyya guys,
Waah. Dri-tech PE attire sounds so IN leh…
Hope my kiddie’s school will change to that,
so at least after running around during PE,
reach home also the pits (armpits) part not
so phew kinda stink! Wuahahaa! -

Eh?? No need to tuck in meh? Aiyah, I tucked in for her two time this week already. But the shorts very toot. So plain and, er, black. My daughter complained that it's too tight at the waist so I have to go do some stretching this weekend. Maybe the heat from the dryer will weaken the elastic?schellen:

With the house name obscured when you tuck the shirt in, i don't think it is meant to be tucked in. My boy came back on the second day with his shirt untucked and told me said no need to tuck in (don't know is teacher said one or his buddy said so). with the shirt untucked, the ugly shorts also not so obvious.

That's good! Must be either buddy said or if teacher said, that means my daughter wasn't paying attention.

The irritating thing is that all her iron-on name tags are coming off so I have no choice but to take out the needle and thread. (Cannot liao lah, my eyes old already.... :?: -

Yeah schellen, u do need to sew those iron-on name tags on, else they wont last! I saw a girl with her name tag ironed/sewed on the wrong side of the uniform first day of school, wonder who did it for her? -
I think at the end of this year I must sew again cos every level change colour for name tag. Sigh....

No schellen, you would not need to do so. What the school usually does is the color for Pri1 this year would be the color for Pri2 next year. It progresses up every year like this and the Pri6 color for this year would be the Pri1 color for next year. In this way your child would be using the same color name tags every year. -
Luanee:
yes schellen. what luanee said is correct.schellen:

the same goes to the house t-shirts. regardless of what class our kid goes to, the house colours stay with them til P6 (and i used to think that we need to purchase house t-shirts everyyear! ) -
Ohhhhh...stupid me. I thought every year must buy new name tags and re-sew. Then I thought why need new name tags? Old ones so fast wear out meh? Then I looked at my DD's stuff and said yes (in my head).
