Hi, may I know if honey causes more phlegm? I heard honey creates more phlegm?

you have to get the right honey. If you are getting the inferior honey, that is those with sugar added, then, yes, will cause more phlegm.

Manuka doesn't cause more phelgm. I am very sensitive to sugar and develop phelgm easily, but I'm ok with manuka honey and honey from superbee honey brand.

oh yes, don't give honey to toddlers below 1 yr old.

        LKVM, Augmum,

Let us have the feedback ok? is it nicer then the NZ one I bought from Guardian...

The price is definately a plus point.

But before i jump the gun and get this new honey, i have to finish the 2 bottles of 500g UMF15 honey first... think i'm going to give a lot to my kids...

Ok tree nymph.. here goes my review... The one I took from Guradian was ard 30 bucks and its MGO100+.. which is equivalant to UMF 10+.
The texture was thick and creamy and thick brown in color...

It tasted yummy and both my kids loved it.. infact DS1 was coughing since couple of days. and immediately after taking he said his throat feel much better

Will update you tmr and see if he continue coughing or its much better... 😛

I too had little bit and the taste is quite good

So guess value for money and if it relieve cough symptoms should b good as well 😉

        Hi LKVm,

How's your DS1? Is his cough better after taking the MGO100+ from Guardian? I think the price is quite attractive and thinking of getting one after finish my 1st bottle bought from Nature Farm.

I have the Honey New Zealand UMF15 one at home. and I’ve been taking it to fight the onset of sore throat, but i finally got the sore throat today, too many late nites!

I went Eu Yan Sang just now and they are having 20% off storewhile until 15 Aug, so their Manuka Honey total activity 15+, 500g is just below $40. $10 more then the Guardian one. In case any one of you are interested in their medicinal powder etc, you can get it now.
