We're actually on our 3rd bottle

Family came down with cough and sore throat 2 weeks back and we've been drinking manuka honey water morning and night. Really helps to soothe the throat and helps to reduce coughing too. Finished almost 2 bottles during that period for 4 of us.

I usually buy the brand Comvita brand from Unity. Quite happy with the efficacy of the product so far. But I guess any other brand is ok too if it's manufactured in NZ.

I just bought from Nature Farm. 4 bottles of 250g UMF 10 at $66.00.

You can also try John Little 500g UMF 10 at $42.80 (before discount). But I usually buy during 20% discount.

actually, for sore throat, it is more effective if you just have it straight from the bottle (not diluted), let it stay at the back of your mouth and dissolve slowly before shallowing. And do not drink anything for at least 5-10 minutes.

Did that too, as in took it neat. But forgot the part about not drinking water immediately. Hmmm.... will remember that next time. But when I had very bad cough, found the honey drink very useful during the coughing fit.

Thanks for the reminder about the sore throat tip. šŸ˜‰

Hmm...Very interesting! I hadn't really give much thought to using manuka honey. Honestly, I thought most supplements were just a bunch of mumbo jumbo. However, if you guys seem to be responding well to such treatments, perhaps I should give this stuff a try. I'm just fearful that my children will have a bit of a bad reaction to it. I think I'll seek the advice of my children's pediatrician before I provide (for them and myself) any supplements. Still, the ideas are flowing in my head. Thanks, you guys!

manuka honey from new zealand very good for wound healing n health.

but was taught when eating honey always use a plastic or wooden spoon no metals coz will destroy the microorganisms alive in the honey.
