The question I posted was Rulang P1 mid year 2012 exam qtn. Their qtns are to kill. Personnally, I felt it will somehow demoralized kids.

You can get the pv form from the office on the orientation day itself and submit on the 1st day of school.

Yes, the school will send you an information kit before orientation day. If not wrong, there will be a book list, uniform info, MOE's info and some forms etc. You don't need to buy the uniform on the same day as there will be other scheduled period for you to do your purchasing.

Need someone to enlighten me whether will it be too early to start creative writing at Primary 1? I realize that most school don’t cover composition unit end of P2 or being of P3.

Am keen to send my DS to TAS but was quite concern can my P1 cope with it and have interest on it.

DS hardly brings homework home. During one of the sharing session, the principal did mention that they don’t encourage giving homework to student. The school wants to nurture an all-rounded student not academic-based student.


So far, DS has been doing well in school. His teacher is willing to try new things with the class. She implemented "student-buddy" system in class. I like the idea as it fosters helping and caring relationship between the students.
