      Imami:

Oh is it? I thought Teadot was a new player. In any case, I hardly go Nex or Bugis+/Illuma so I could have totally missed their existence.
My first Teadot visit was when Illuma first opened, so I guess it was at least few years ago? I think they had an outlet in one of the Bedok shopping malls too.

Teadot is where I first learnt about rooibos. Love it! =D
I buy rooibos from the supermarkets now though.

Speaking of which, anyone knows where to get IBC Rootbeer (the one they serve at Astons)? They used to sell in Carrefour but I haven't been able to find it anywhere else.

      hello!

Been to Teadot. I have some pictures and comments here:

Love Teadot! But they're always \"moving around\" though. Used to visit the one at Illuma (now Bugis+), then NEX but they are no longer there. =\\

      Another random addition:

Honestly, I do feel that McCafe is one of the underdogs. They are everywhere and I feel that they are at least of good standard for that price. I use McCafe as a minimum standard for coffee that all standalone cafes should have. In addition, I love the Cinnamon melts :boogie: (I do find it too sweet though).

      Hi,

Can recommend programming course for 12 years old? My kid is interested in programming and currently learning java from his classmate.

Better still if have any online program that he can take.

      Thanks!
Good to hear that! Is your kid interested in Java as the programming language or are you looking for just programming in general.

      For Java:
      http://www.tutorialspoint.com/java/index.htm

      For programming in general:
      http://www.w3schools.com

Depending on what your kid is interested in programming, I could recommend different things.
E.g. for web development, my opinion is to learn HTML/CSS/Javascript first followed by PHP

      2x(J-40)=K

      geniuskids:
Thank you for your help. Can you please explain this step:

Total remaining number of pages after first day
      = 4/3 x 1/2 of total number of pages
= 2/3 of total number of pages

      Why is it 4/3 x 1/2?
      3/4 remaining = 1/2 total
      1/4 remaining = 1/3 x 1/2
      4/4 remaining = 4/3 x 1/2

      Additional Notes to that question:

AB = AC = AE since they form the radius of the same circle.

      Similarly,
AD = AF = AX where X is centre of top circle.
Note: X will be at the centre of top circle since the two circles are identical AND A is at the circumference of the top circle.

      geniuskids:
      Need help on this question:

Islani had to read a book for his school project. On the 1st day, he read 72 pages of the book. On the 2nd day, he read 1/4 of the remaining number of pages. In the end, he still had to read 1/2 of the total number of pages to complete the book. How many pages were there in the book?

      Thank you.
3/4 of remaining number of pages after first day
= 1/2 of total number of pages
Total remaining number of pages after first day
      = 4/3 x 1/2 of total number of pages
= 2/3 of total number of pages
      Pages read on first day
= 1/3 of total number of pages
      Total number of pages
      = 72 x 3
      = 216
