Jus wonder why the school dont publish Art o level as subject offered. Btw, is ur child at this school? what’s ur view of this school?

check content of the GEP acceptance form, before submit.
Is there any clause or option (choice) inside the form, that say allow u to stay back in current existing school, if unable to get posted to any of your 3 choice GEP schools ?

if don't have such an option explicitly, MOE will post your kid to a GEP school that still have vacancies left, in the event u cannot get any of your 3 choice GEP schools. And if this GEP school u are posted to is not what u want, then need to appeal to the school u desire. For appeal cases, only if still got vacancies then they consider.
Eg. NYPS is hard to appeal, because majority of their own NYPS students offered GEP, cleared Round 2 test, will tend to go back NYPS (GEP). Hence limited seats left for outsiders (from other primary schools) keen to join. Moreover, with the new AL PSLE system coming soon, many girls offered GEP will be eager to join NYPS (GEP), due to NYGH (IP) affliation

under current Tscore, affliation to join NYGH (IP) is Tscore 250, inclusive of +1 or +2 or +3 HCL bonus points
that means, if a P6 student score various possible combination

- 247 +3 (for Higher Chinese), or
- 248 +2 or
- 249 + 1 or
- 250 + 0 (never take Higher Chinese @PSLE, because Not all P6 students inside NYPS school take Higher Chinese if their Standard Chinese is not strong, or taken Higher Chinese but failed )

this P6 student can go back to NYGH (IP), under affliation

For my case, if son really gets in, the nearest will be Rosyth since i staying northeast area. The others all too far i dont think it is ideal for him to travel so extensively on a daily basis.

My daughter told me the opposite, she said Math is the hardest and she didn’t finish the paper. I guess we should start letting her down easy cos likely won’t get in already.

My son told me the same. He said Math very tough, he couldn't finish the paper, left 3 questions undone. He said most of his classmate also agree Math was tough, in fact one of his classmate left 9 questions blank.

I also have same sentiment that my son won't get in but that doesn't matter. I am already very proud of him for having went through such \"challenging and intimidating\" battle for the past 2 days. He could have just chillax at home during this short break of 4 days psle marking day! Our child definitely deserve a good rest after killing so many brain cells!
