This number seems pretty risky for even those within 1 km.

RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
But does this number include those who register online?

I registered online
My younger one is having hfmd so I’m confined at home -
RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
As suggested, I have registered at MSHS. Hopefully some may choose other schools seeing the number of applications. Now only can cross fingers and pray…

RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
I am within 1 km. But still worrying. Balloting was never needed at phase 2B but look at this year’s. Hopefully ppl may flock to St Andrews. I have no back up plan as 2C supplementary choices are really not in my list at all. I looked at Cedar Pri for supplementary but past years shown no space at that stage. What abt u?

RE: [Toa Payoh] Primary Schools
That’s why I am getting worried. For the past years, the numbers were still ok. But for this year, the numbers are all out of expectations

Looking at the stats for P2C at Maris Stella, it seems very risky. I’m trying for Maris Stella, but I’m worried abt the sudden surge of applicants. What should I do if I fail to secure a place at Maris? I have to search for 2C supplementary remaining slots in other schools? I am afraid by that phase, even cedar pri has no space.

RE: GEP and IQ
Mine is found online… Said to be recognized by MOE. Cost is quite reasonable but we are still pondering whether to assess. We simply need to assess to understand his capability better. Till now, I still think he is simply a usual mischievous boy and not gifted.
This is not about comparing… But I need honest opinions from parents who are more familiar with this. My boy is in K1 and he is able to do long addition, subtraction mentally. He can do multiplication table and understand division. He is not attending any enrichment classes. In fact I am the one telling him it’s enough with multiplication and do not stress with division yet. Therefore he is doing P1 Maths himself. He loves Maths. As for English, he is able to read Geronimo Stilton novels on his own. Is this gifted or simply good at studying?
