      @aliciang You could speak with a specialist to find out whether your husband is a suitable candidate for the LINX procedure, particularly if he is still having symptoms despite medication. My dad had ongoing heartburn, regurgitation, chest discomfort and trouble sleeping because of his GERD. He eventually had the LINX procedure with Dr Shanker Pasupathy, and the surgery made his reflux much easier to manage. He can sleep more comfortably now, eat without as much worry about reflux and get through his day without the constant discomfort he used to have.

      @aliciang If it’s plantar fasciitis (and that’s one of the most common causes), stretching, not rest, helps. Look online - there’s lots of advice. I suffered from plantar fasciitis several years ago, and did the stretches every morning and it got a lot better. I rarely have pain now, and when I do (because I don’t do the stretches much now), a couple of days of stretches fixes the pain. I would recommend you try stretching first, and see. If stretching doesn’t help, then see a doctor.
