    • RE: Q&A - PSLE Math

Sometimes I feel sad for the children that what they try to do has been labelled by their teachers as "stupid" acts. These words can have a negative impact on their future. I wonder do all of you agree? Children needs a lot of encouragement and positive reinforcement so that they can excel in not only their academic studies but also in their social lives.

    • RE: Daddy NIEtrainedTEACHER saying HI

Can anyone advise me on how to start tutoring as a career?

To provide some background info, I have been a part-time tutor for the past 8 years, provideing tutoring to children from Pri 4 to Sec 4 on subjects such as Science and Maths.

And I have found teaching and coaching fulfilling through these years…

Although I have a full-time job but found myself not really motivating as compared to teaching because at the end of the day, I can see my achievements as reflected on the children’s report cards.

      NIEtrainedTEACHER:
Now teaching in my centre with some of my ex-colleagues. Also doing home tutoring.

Find it more fulfilling as a teacher cause I feel like one and not like an administration executive... 😉

      Regards.
Hi, I'm new to this forum. Anyway, after looking at this forum for some time, I decided to join in to share and discuss anything with regards to children's education.
