A life of an educator is always hard…and that is why educators are the unsung heroes of our society.

not trying to praise myself and my fellow educators

        Hi kayden,

For me I believe that a life as an educator should not be hard as you are doing something noble…but usually, the schools - once again not the education system - makes the life of an educator hard.

        Regards

Teaching is not hard when one has passion. It’s the award chasing that’s hard!

Hi there everyone. It is fantastic to find parents whom are actively involved in their child's education.

As an educator and a parent, I also share the same concerns with all of you. But in any case, if there is anything that I can help you all with, do not hesitate to pm me or reply to my postings.

            Regards

Now teaching in my centre with some of my ex-colleagues. Also doing home tutoring.

Find it more fulfilling as a teacher cause I feel like one and not like an administration executive... 😉

              Regards.
Hi, I'm new to this forum. Anyway, after looking at this forum for some time, I decided to join in to share and discuss anything with regards to children's education.

Can anyone advise me on how to start tutoring as a career?

To provide some background info, I have been a part-time tutor for the past 8 years, provideing tutoring to children from Pri 4 to Sec 4 on subjects such as Science and Maths.

And I have found teaching and coaching fulfilling through these years…

Although I have a full-time job but found myself not really motivating as compared to teaching because at the end of the day, I can see my achievements as reflected on the children’s report cards.

                  Hi.
Very happy to find another ex-teacher here.

My boy just went for the GEP selction test and he is looking forward to the results.
                  Are you familiar with GEP?
If yes, please join in our discussion at ALL ABOUT GEP.

                  Thanks in advance.
