Actually, on reporting day, the secondary schools won't be too fussy about the attire as long as neat and tidy because different schools have different rules, they won't know what is the primary's schools rules.


Also, they will be briefed on the school's rules which will only start on 4 Jan 2011 for this year's P6s.

For those who are intending to appeal, get ready:
1. Primary school report book
2. Testimonials from school teachers (especially CCA teachers/coaches if you intend to appeal through CCA)
3. Any certs to show your 'talents' (ABRSM certs, competition awards, etc)
4. Letter of appeal (with your reasons for choosing the school clearly stated)
5. Loads of time to queue up to meet the principal/vice-principal

Can anyone englighten on Chung Cheng High Main? Is it a good sch? Despite SAP, it is a band 3 sch. I am worried abt its high emphasis on Chinese, not sure if my son is able to cope as his HMT is also not very strong. I visited the sch, it is quite old and run down but currently undergoing rebuilding and improvising the existing sch.

actually, to me, i think they are popular, but i don't really think it is a good school... but their chinese is strong. same, i went to the school, i felt that the school is very run down and old, that will make the children not have to feeling to study.

But they are renovating which means the place will look cleaner! so i think it might be good. U may have a different view of it, but that's my opinion.

sry, just new here. I heard there are helpful ppl here just wanting to help a good friend . She wants her son to get in higher chinese school, that is at the east. His score is 212. I can't think of any school, so see if u can help him
