Hi all I am thinking of having my DD enroll for S1 2020.

Any idea if the school will be undergoing any renovation within the next 4 years?

I just realised this issue on Sun morning. Now it is still there.
Yes, I cant bend my arm to scratch my back as easy as before.
Is this frozen shoulder = stiff shoulder blade?

I went to 2 GPs during the initial period of my frozen shoulder but they can't diagnose it correctly because my symptoms were not severe. However, my physiotherapist can diagnose it. Maybe at that time the symptoms are more severe. I can't lift up my arm to a full extend and I can't unhook my bra. The pain itself is on my upper arm. Not shoulder. It is about 15cm below my shoulder.

First, I got frozen shoulder on my left shoulder. Currently I think it has gone to stage 2. Now my right shoulder starting to freeze. I think that shoulder is still in stage 1.

I think it is still best to go see GP. I got an x-ray done to rule out cancer.

hi may i know what type of cancer can be ruled out by getting an x-ray?

If your child is in P1 taking school bus, must teach your child how to stand up for herself on bus. Some P2 girls will \"bully\" the P1 girls. I should say some P2 girls can be \"si bei kuai lan\".

      omg
      what type of bullying?

During P1 registration at Marymount Convent, I found out from the admin lady that children will have to be seated in the hall by 12.10pm from Mondays to Fridays. For dismissal timing, the children will be dismissed at 6.30pm from Monday to Thursday. As for Friday's dismissal timing, the children are to be dismissed at 5.30pm. For parents who intend to pick the children up after school have to be aware about this.

I'm stuck at Question 4: As the school embarks on the implementation of holistic education and holistic assessment, what are some contributions you would like to make here?

Is it asking for money contribution or what? Anyone can offer me some suggestions to the answer?
i guess it could be monetary or volunteer time / effort ?
      anyone else?

      Hi baby snow

I was quoted $195 for 2 way from Sembawang to Marymount and back for next year 2014 bus transport rate.
Contact Marymount Convent school bus driver David: 9670 7698 (for North side only)

      hi sembgal
      $195.00 is a shocker. :moneyflies:
do u know if there are other school buses that can do it more competitively or is it a monopoly?

Hi babysnow, I found out that $195 (2 way) if 1 way, is $10 discount, the bus service is only for the children residing in Sembawang area. Pick up time is 11.20am and drop off time is 7.20pm. Friday drop off time is 6.20pm. Take into consideration that children have to reach MCS by 12pm and be dismissed at 6.30pm. Friday is 1 hour early dismissal. Paying a little higher in order to avoid the girls going merry go around is a factor to consider. I rather the minibus head up to expressway after picking all the girls up. I heard that currently this year about 10 girls taking this route. There will be 2 drivers, 1 in charge of morning route, the other in charge of evening return route. It is advisable to call David, the boss to find out more. Drivers only direct me to call David after I managed to talk to them.

David mentioned that on Orientation Day 15 Nov, we can talk to them again as the school bus service will be attending to parents' request. So don't miss out on the Orientation Day.[/quote]
      hi sembgal

are the school timings that you have mentioned above firm for 2014?
anyway i guess will have to wait for orientation to know for sure then can start making transport arrangements.
have u started filling up the aspirations form that came in the orientation package?
