Yes I am. The disappearance doesn’t seem to have anything to do with iCloud though, because the first time I experienced this I did not set up an iCloud.

So my kid is 4 years old now and in the phase where he is very excited to meet new people and talk. Was in New York City walking around with him and saw a hobo begging for money along the pavement.


Me (whispering): "Stay away from that guy there. He’s a weird guy."
Son: "Hello weird guy!" (waves happily)

Woke up this morning to find that all my iPhone contacts have disappeared. I didn’t press any button, deleted anything, synced my phone or updated my software, it just happened out of the blue.


The good news is that I have all my contacts backed up on iTunes and can put them back in again. The bad news is, this is not the first time this has happened. Anyone else has this problem or knows why this happens? Would be disastrous to have my contacts disappearing during a meeting.

Definitely apply with whatever is in your passport. You don't want any complications delaying you at the airport, and they tend to be quite \"anal\" about these things after Sep-11, international traffic restriction etc.

With regards to getting to Woodbury and driving around the US in general, it is possible to rent a car for $150 or so. Getting a car directly from established companies like Hertz tends to upvalue things a lot - try Dollar-rent-a-car or search on Enterprise car rentals instead. Alternatively, you can take a bus to Woodbury for $30-40.

Woodbury is for shopping in bulk though! If you're just looking for a few cheap deals in similar quality products just stick to Macy's or the shopping doesn't justify the traveling cost.
