Bakugan, if you can't have real life friends, then have cyber friends, like over here. It is less trouble some with cyber friends, and can be equally fun! Cyber friends can be very informative too!

      Thanks for the encouragement carebear.
You're right that friends come in many different forms.
It's important that we're sincere and helpful with friends šŸ™‚

Yeah! Kids are great cz they don't think so much.

They are taught to ask for each others' names first and then play together šŸ™‚ I'm still using these \"openers\", which works great. Thus I move from company to company and I'm always blessed with great friends along the way.

But I think the responsibilities of our lives \"weigh\" us down so much that we don't have the time and energy to \"further\" the good relationships that we have along the way šŸ™‚ :snuggles:

      Hi there

I found that as I grow older, it is harder for me to make friends.
Even though I have never stopped working, I have found that it takes greater effort, mentally and physically, to strike a conversation to make new friends.

Looking at my kids, I really missed those times when it was \"so easy\"...

    • RE: Kip McGrath Education Centres - Discussion

Thanks FeeDad for the insight šŸ™‚

I'll try to call the centre to find out how \"this\" particular tutor does it then. :boogie:

Quite interactive. Not those classroom format tuition centres where he just sit down and listen to the teacher then start doing his work šŸ˜„

May I know how is a typical lesson conducted? Anyone know if it is suitable for primary school kids?

I'm also curious about this centre cz I realise that there is a branch at Bukit Merah too. But its glass panels are completely covered, so I can't see the classrooms inside :scratchhead:

      Thank you.

      MummySTay:
Apparently, we have a lot of dog and hamster lovers here. Doesn't anyone like cats, like me?

I love cats too!! :rahrah: They are so calm, poised and intelligent.
And not as clingy too. I like that they have a mind of their own and they're highly independent. Well, that was my late cat . šŸ˜„

In any case, I have a white hamster to give away, if anyone is interested, pls pm me :boogie:

My girl is quite often on the flixotide. Any idea what side effects are there?

      Hi kayetch

My 8yo son is on Nasonex, but how old is DD? According to the Dr, Nasonex has no \"steriod\"-like ingredient thus \"safer\" for kids. DS is on this spray once a day for his nose. And when the weather changes or gets hazy, DS's nose will be inflammed (swollen sinuses) and we will have to use it twice a day. It is effective at the moment. But we stop when his nasal cavity is clear. And I will always try to boost his immune system as much as possible by giving him nutritious stuff - chinese herbs in soup, honey etc.

My son is skinny and the Dr says that as long as he has this nose thing, his weight will not move up the scale so easily. So hang in there šŸ™‚

      Hi mummies and daddies,

My girl has been asking me for a pet for the longest time (her ambition is to be a vet). She is going to be P1 next year and I worry about her 3 min hotness. She assures me that she will be responsible, I feel that perhaps I should let her try. I used to have a dog but no other experience with other pets. Can anyone recommend a suitable pet for a young girl, some animal that is easy to look after just in case I become the de facto maid.
I agree with kiddo on this one...
I was thinking of a pet for my kid about a year and a half ago and decided on the hamsters cz they are great pets and easiest to take care (small cages, low maintenance, cheap food and easy to hand-over when on holiday) :imcool:
