RE: All About A Levels
hi simkhoo,
Thanks for help and insight.
So its not 4 H2 + 1H1 ?
But 4 H2 only OR 3 H2 + 1 H1
Sorry i'm a bit confused here.
How many subjects in total actually ?
Option 1 :
Lit ( H2 ) + Hist ( H2) + Econs (H2) + Maths (H2) + GP ------ 5 subjects
Li (H2) + Hist (H2) + KI (H2) + Maths / Econs ( H1) ------ 4 subjects
In the MOE website, for Humanities Scholarship Programme students :
Besides offering the GP ( students offering KI need not offer GP) .... and Project Workat H1 level. Humanities scholars must offer ....
First H2 : Lit
Second and Third H2 : Choices : Econs, Geography, History
In addition to three H2 subjects, Humanities Scholars have to offer a contrasting subject which may be KI or from the Maths/ Science group.
May I know when they say contrasting subject, does it matters if its H1 or H2 ?
H2 : Lit, Econs, History
If four H2 : + KI or Maths (H2) ---- contrasting subject. If choose Maths still have to take GP.
If three H2 and one H1 : GP or Maths (H1)
I believe, if student choose Maths, they'll still need to take GP.
Making it 5 subjects instead. -

Are ther any parents here whose children had taken Knowledge Inquiry before or currently?
How are they going to be tested during the A levels ? Written just like GP ?
Considering his possible subject combinations :

RE: * Eunoia JC (EJC)
Hi everyone,
I’ve been reading the threads. Seems like only a few matters pop into my mind.
Someone kept talking abouit NYJC ? What the shit is this ? This a EJC Networking group.
Another talking about drop out rates. True this a serious matter. But there seems to be no "truths: to be found here.
Now, I wonder whats the purpose of this EJC thread for ?
I’d like to ask questions pertaining to subject Combinations. Are there any parents whose children are in JC1 or JC2 this year of 2019?
Note : Please this questions are only for PARENTS WHO HAS CHILDREN in EUNOIA JC.
My boy going EJC next year. Considering he going into Humanities : History, Literature being compulsory.
question 1 :
Whats the difference between GP and Knowledge Inquiry?
IS KI a heavy subject ?
question 2:
Econs H1 and Econs H2, whats the difference ?
It would be better if any students ( ie the children) are able to answer my questions.
Thanks. -

RE: * Eunoia JC (EJC)
Hi
I would like to know about the criteria for the Subject Combinations in EJC.
I’d managed to download their subject combinations thru the school website.
However, I’d like to know more of the criteria which the IP students need to meet in order
to be selected for their chosen subject combinations.
Does anyone has any idea here ?
