Thank you for the reviews. May I know is the girl guide cca in this school good? Are there any trial period for S1 students to try out the cca first before they commit?

Hi! Sorry I couldn't reply before the deadline of submission of schools haha! I would say Girl Guides are quite decent. And the school only allow each student to input one choice. (That means they will 100% end up in the CCA they like) Unfortunately, there is no trial period before committing to the CCA. Don't worry though! There will be a day where your daughter can explore the booths set up by the CCAs and the performing arts CCA may have a performance if she is lucky enough!

For oversubscribed CCAs (E.g. Aeronautics Club), there will be a series of tests. After the tests, the seniors and teachers-in-charge will decide who will stay in the CCA. Those not accepted will choose a CCA to join that are not as popular. I think that Girl Guides is not oversubscribed so I'm confident your daughter will be able to enrol in it without much burden.

For Sports CCAs, there will be a selection trial. Like oversubscribed CCAs, the seniors and teachers-in-charge will decide who will enrol in the CCA. Those who are accepted will not participate in the CCA Posting Process.

2) Greendale
3) North Vista
4) Seng Kang

Are there any other good schools to suggest around SK/Punggol areas besides the above?

The homework load is acceptable…there will be streaming starting from end of P2… usually the first 3 classes are the better ones… As for CCA i am not too sure whether is compulsory or not as my DD told me some of her classmates do not join any CCA.

The student care in the school close at 7pm… by 640pm the teachers will start to msg parents to pick the kids…

Not sure why they still call me up… i was surprised when i received their call also… anyway even though got vacancies i also wont transfer already after 3 yrs later… bcos my kids already familiarise with the current sch and friends… if 6mth or 1 yr later they said got vacancies i still can consider.
