Hi,
my son will be taking his PSLE this year. I had gone for the open house of Greendale in 2015 with my elder girl. Quite like the school as the student that brought us around was quite nice and also the school is pretty new. My elder one is with Edgefield Secondary now. Can someone update me on its current principal and how the school is faring so far? I understand that Principal changes every 5 to 7 years. Thank you very much.

Could you tell me more about edgfield? The study environment, principal and staff?

Hi Latifah_a,

For edgefield, i liked the way the school planned the curriculum in 2016 (by ex-P). Science was taught by 3 different teachers (physics/chem/bio) in separate lessons unlike my son’s school whereby there is only one teacher conducting science class in one lesson.

Please check with the school now on the curriculum as i understand that they are trying out a mixed of classes with Express and Normal in one class.

Teachers are good. For the environment, you can pop into the school to have a look. Best of luck.

My son is in Compassvale Secondary school, which is one stop away from home. He didn’t meet the COP for Edgefield. As for Greendale, we realised that it will be a bit out of the way for him. Besides he preferred Compassvale than Greendale so go with his choice.
