Hi Im a current PV in Gong shang for my child (2009).
The PV systems works quite well for me..
The office admin will email out the activity requiring PV to participate and allocation to PV is based on replying to email.

My view is to know what is the priority when select primary school - near home? Academy or holistic environment? If the child can excel, he or she will be. At the end, they grow up and get a decent job or profession?[/quote]to me i prefer schools that are nearby easy for us. i agree with you on the success of the child depends on him/herself.
too many schools near me is also a problem haha.

I have few sch options in mind for my ds. Which is better since we can only register for 1 primary sch at a time ?

1. The sch is 1 blk behind my blk. Should I try for pv since is already so near my blk?

2. The sch is within 1km from my hse , will submit for pv.

3. Hb's ex primary sch is also within 1km from my house. But I not so keen in this sch as compared to 1st n 2nd above.

To choose which depends on your risk appetite and also the balloting history of the first two schools. As well as the phase 2c supplementary vacancies of the school nearest to you, whether u will be again subject to balloting at p2cs stage should you be unlucky in both phase 2b and 2c.

my child is in 2009 and going p1 in 2016. Cant seem to find any info on PV in their website.

I have to choose options
Tampines : Gong shang pri under Phase 2B/2C (still waiting for them to release PV registration)
Woodlands : Woodlands Pri or Innova under Phase2C
