SC 1 to 2km - 2
SC >2km - 6

Currently at cut-off point for registrants within 1KM. Outside 1KM no chance at all, so no balloting for <1km unless someone staying within 1KM throws their hat in before the deadline this afternoon and spoils the party.

My advise is, don't be misled by above current numbers coz lots of parents/registrants staying within 1km of the school are watching the numbers like hawks, so will be next to no chance for those above 1km contemplating. Good luck !!!

Yes, my heartfelt congratulations indeed to all phase 2B parents of ACSJ. It was a very close call indeed and what crucially made a difference was a parent graciously pulling out her application at the very last minute.

My concern for her is by doing so if she missed the 2B phase entirely for applying for other schools in the area or she will be taking her chance again at the 2C phase.

Final breakdown results for SJI Jr

SC < 1KM - 32
SC 1 to 2KM - 18
SC > 2KM - 28
SPR 1 to 2KM - 2

For a total of 56 vacancies, so balloting for > 2KM for remaining slots

Well I was at ASCJ watching the entire drama unfold and I think this guy is within the law as in, he submitted his application just before the 4.30pm deadline. Unfortunately for all the parents within 1 KM in P2B, there will now be a ballot for this category since there are 48 registrants to 47 vacancies. So all registrants outside of 1KM of ACSJ will have NO chance at all.


Well there are 46 places left in P2C to hope for now in ACSJ.

As of 9.30AM this morning, there are 3 more registrants bringing the total so far to 63. Breakdown as follows:

SC < 1KM - 37+1
SC 1 to 2KM - 4+1
SC > 2KM - 17+1
SPR < 1KM - 0
SPR 1 to 2KM - 1
SPR > 2KM -1

If you are interested in SJI Jr, the following are the stats so far:

Apparently 37 when I checked just after 4.30pm with 4 registrants for 1-2km so how all of a sudden ended up with total registrations of 60 is perplexing !!!
