I'm desperate to know the dates for the tests for Term 4.
Hope there is sufficient time to prepare my daughter. She did badly for Math in Term 3...in fact, she flunk. It seems to be a blessing in disguise that hubby will be on hospitalization leave for next 2 weeks (catarat op)...can ramp up her Math.

Not yet...but i will be more hardworking to prepare my gal for it this time.
I've emailed daughter's FT to enquire if dates can be given to us earlier so that we can plan some revision to be done. Will advise if dates are given.

Don't worry...there is hardly any homework esp in the first 2 terms.
This term, daughter has brought home some EL, Maths and CL worksheets or activity book but not all subjects together...can be finished within 15 minutes.

I'll be one of the mummies who will be vying for the 48 seats in Phase 2C next week. Hope my gal will get a place in IJ(TP). Any idea what was the chances last yr?? Is there balloting for those who're living within 1km??

There were about 57 seats in phase 2c and no balloting within 1km last year. If you are staying within 1km your chances are high, if not . The school will call you if your dd gets in. :rahrah:

My daughter goes to Violet for her CL class. The teacher in charge told me there are 15 in the class and most of the girls are from non-speaking CL families. I'm very relieved she will be benefitting from a small class.
