    • RE: Hair Loss

I never think hair loss is ever a problem for me as my family is blessed with thick hair which I never appreciate. I always have to ask the hair dresser to thin my hair as much as possible.

However, I can't say the same lately. I had my hair permed (last perm was 20 years ago, though i have done yearly rebonding for the last 5 years) and one week later, my hair loss was visible.

I would think the chemical used has created the damage.

When i brush my hair with my hands, strands of hair can be found and my dustbin in the office is mainly to catch my hair. Even without brushing, the hair will drop involunteerily.

Not to mention after stepping out from the shower after i washed my hair. :slapshead:

I have stopped using hair brush and am very very gentle when i comb my hair.

I switch to sharing my son's shampoo instead of the more expensive treatment shampoo I have been using which I believe it helps. Nothing tonic as discussed, just normal shampoo.

Next, I went for herbal treatment which i see improvement immediately. According to the therapist, i would need a few more sessions to stablise the condition. The treatment is to strengthen the root. I have yet to give further comments as i only visited the salon a week ago.

      I hope my sharing helps.
