Wait list is managed by individual school. Unless the school has specific conditions, the wait list should be open to everyone.

However, wait list is not first come first serve, so it is entirely up to the school to choose whoever they want to admit. And because the process is not transparent, we have no idea how the school decide who to choose...distance might just be one of the considerations.

Is it possible to use address on Father's IC (that is currently rented out n lease ending so will be able to change address after lease ends) to apply for Pri school in Phase 2C n if it was unsuccessful, we use address on Mother's IC (where we are staying now) to register in Phase 2CS? We intend to move back to the Father's address if it's successful in Phase 2C as it is within one km of a preferred school. I'm asking for Pri one registration in 2019 as we are planning if we should move after the lease ends. Will MOE require both parents IC address to be the same at the time of registeration?

Instead of purchasing from the big retailers, do consider buying from the air con retailers as well.

If like that, i just hope that the school will pay attention to the details and make sure that the date the parent changed address follows the rules and guidelines of MOE which states that it should be done on or before 29 June 2017. If understand it correctly.
