RE: CMA Math - Discussion
Hi, does mental math like CMA hinder kids when they enter primary school? Are there any parents here who can share their experiences?

Any feedback for Bedok central branch? Can give me referral details too? -
RE: CMA Math - Discussion
I reckon the best time for most kids is around K1 to P2. K1 cos that’s when they can be more serious and have basic ability to write numbers, anytime before that it may not be as effective. P2 cos that’s when schoolwork is still relatively light, beyond that they might get really busy.
In short, starting now (K2) shouldn’t be too late if your aim is for your kid to gain an affinity to numbers. -

I sent my child only when he could write 1 to 10, which is age 4+. He seems to be coping well now. When he was 3+ he didn’t know how to write numbers properly so I thought to delay registration.
Hi
Any parents sent your child to Kindy class for ages 4 onwards when your child is less than 3.5 years old?
My child made it thr the assessment but he is only 3 plus. We are worried he cannot adapt to the class with the older students cos he will be the youngest in the class.
Can share? Thanks
