Background: Child reads very widely, loves Science a lot but tend to lose marks in his Open ended questions section. Results of his Sci isn’t consistent. Ranges from AL1-4 but usually within AL2-3.

Based on last year, only GEP schools' kids were in the Masterclass.
I believe they have other programmes for mainstream kids based on what my friend's kids got.

Noob questions here. May I understand more about Maths and Science Masterclass. Are they only for Geppers? How do mainstream students get chosen? Do all Mainstream schools enrol? Thanks!

Examples; YouTube channel \"Maths Olympiad in Singapore\", Chinese forums (like 狮城家长论坛) and coaching centres (like 张涛老师)

Wonder if those who are taking the GEP round 2 tomorrow (补考) are doing the same paper?

Agree. The kiddos are also done/ about to be done with exams so now they’d have a lot of free time on hand. My son just asked this morning what were the tough tests about and when can he know the result…
