Hi parents,

Need advice over my year 1 DS’s humanities choice (he likes both Music & Geography).
If I keep quiet, he might pick Music (year 2& 3 only becos he has a grade 4 in piano) but unlikely to specialize in ( difficult for him to meet w the requirement for 2 musical instruments). Should I even try to steer him to do Geography with a higher chance to carry on as an optional 4th major ? Please share or pm me. Thanks!

Did anyone successfully get enrol back to the Math Olympiad Training module in the 2nd semseter if they didnt do the module in 1st semster ? Is there a MO test or how to seek approval ? The timetable clashes with the Third lang for now as DS couldnt get the desired timeslot…TIA

Thanks for info, do they also include the ASEAN scholars /medal winners ? Standard must be quite high for only 7, I guess…

Can anyone pls share if jacket is required ? I thot classrooms not airconditoned, so didnt pass one to DS today…but I realised tons of NUSH kids reported to sch with the sweater/jackets. Also should DS start hunting for lockers already ??

And only when school starts next year or should register interest somewhere online ? Thanks!

You will be offered the choice to take up Japanese or French as a 3rd language module as an elective, and your kid will be able to choose at the start of the year. You will be provided with the instructions to register then.
