my daughter will be doing malay special programme. her t score wasnt that great,(234) so given limited options. my sister-in-law's son who is from VS (Sec 2) is doing German. I heard from him that it is actually pretty fun and you are not penalised for failing. As far as I am concern, it is a good opportunity for kids to pick up a foreign language. at least know how to converse.
Arabic? anyway, I am not too strict about her learning 3rd language either. think of it as more of an enrichment.
