Han Seo:Frozen shoulder, or adhesive capsulitis, usually responds to a program of gradual stretching and anti-inflammatories. I find that the fastest way for patients to get pain relief is a steroid injection into the shoulder joint. This has to be given directly into the ball and socket joint (the glenohumeral joint) to be effective, as opposed to the bursa which is where most shoulder injections are given. A steroid shot typically helps with pain by relieving inflammation in the joint, but the stiffness still requires stretching to resolve. Most people will see significant improvement with an injection, physical therapy, and anti-inflammatories, but a small minority will continue to have pain and stiffness and might require a manipulation under anesthesia or a capsular release.Anyone seek treatment for FROZEN SHOULDER? TCM? Chiropractor? Please share if your treatment was effective.
On this note, how do you take care of household chores while your shoulder heals, if you do not have a maid?

My girl tends to get cough easily....quite a problem when she is sleeping. Any age old grandmother remedies for this problem?
For most upper respiratory infections, simply maintaining hydration and getting adequate rest are sufficient to allow natural recovery. Symptoms such as severe sore throat or productive cough warrant evaluation by a healthcare provider, however.
