Thank you Brigette78. Yes agree that weekly writing is important. Do they do one compo a week? Any recommendations of good teachers for TAS?
Yes they write every week in CW. You can try asking for Andy, Aaron, Suetfan. I think some of them teach in more than one centre.

When kids had nvr been given a hp, a phone card helps the child to manage his/her own phone usage & phone expenses, indirectly limiting screen games or too much YouTube. At lower sec, best start with phone card. Giving a data plan is like giving the yet to be adult an open cheque.

Ive seen young fellows addicted to online & screen
games & some get themselves tempted with *****.

As a parent, it’s my responsibility to help my kids thro process towards maturity & if I need to top up value of my child’s card on regular basis, that’s a responsibility I shall not shirk.

DS is in Yr 3 and we’ve setup a GIRO to topup on a mthly basis with no hassle. Seems like with the promotion to Yr 3 with new subj combination, DS has increased movitation & proj responsibilities we’re planning to provide data plan mid of this year. For us, we’ve always exercise delayed gratification.

      Just sharing
This is very useful as I am thinking how to get started. Thanks for sharing! By phone card it means those prepaid SIM cards right?

      Hi,

Does anyone have feedback on TAS creative writing classes? What is the difference between their CW class and regular class?
My child was both classes for a year. After paper 2 improved I stopped going for that to focus on composition. I feel must write every week to improve! CW writes every week while regular does alternate weeks. His compo marks are better now... From 29/30 now can get 35++ most of the time.

I recommend to go for both at the start. See what works for your child. Also seems like many A star produced in the CW class. Friend in last year's P6 CW told me half the class scored A star for psle. Hoping for the best this year for my boy :xedfingers:

Mos Burger has Impossible version now too.

At PS Cafe, hubby ordered real meat burger while I ordered impossible. I prefered mine! The seasoning and taste was more consistent haha. I never thought I would be a fan.

which is better an acoustic drum or an electronic one?? Im planning to buy a new drum set so I'm thinking which one is better.. need some advice here!! 🙂
Of course acoustic drum set is much better, because it gives a more realistic feel and sound.

But...electronic drum set has its advantages. Especially for minimizing sound disturbance of your neighbors, can practise late at night/early in the morning when family members are asleep etc...and also can connect via wires to electric metronome, computer sound tracks, own headphones/ear buds, can record your drum tracks electronically etc.[/quote]
I live in a HDB and recommend electronic. Nowadays the electronic drums respond to the strength you hit with to give variations of the sound so that it feels like the real thing. The sound proofing for acoustic drums was too troublesome and no guarantees it will prevent the neighbours from hearing!

Is there composition writing for lower primary?

P2 to 6 have but I am not sure about P1. You can ask to see their materials if you want to see examples of what they will write.

      Thx will do so.

It is heavily processed, genetically modified food.
      Not healthier to consume regularly.
It is far much better to consume real meat .
Do you have any article or source about this? Not trying to find trouble but just curious thx.

Is there any reason your family prefers plant based meat? I am not vegan or vegetarian but I do think it is a healthier option…
