mine is Toshiba, quite good too. One thing to watch out for is the workmanship when laying the pipes - ensure that pipes and insulation should be of good grade. For my old one, the conducting pipes were not well insulated.. in the end, result in several choke points where the condensation gathers and leaks through the plastic ducts :((. In the end, give up and redo the whole thing.

We have 2 cats quite old - having pets around does help your kid become more used/not easily afraid to other animals. Also, we use the cats' age and behavior to explain the stages of life, as the cats' get older, their digestion is not so good and so they tend to regurg their food anywhere on the sofa, bed, floor, or an accidental poo somewhere. So our kid helps to clean up after the mess too. But otherwise, in terms of pets, cats are quite clean and easy to maintain and actually does not need much energy from us as they prefer to laze around on their own without human pestering :).

I am a husband, I think an okay one… but I feel for your situation. A lot of times when guy does something unexplainable or difficult-to-communicate, the reason is usually they want to avoid an issue somewhere that is difficult to face. In theory, should man up and face things… but in practice, the guy’s mental process to face things not so easy.


Not the same as here, but I have done some behavior before which my wife cannot understand yet I have difficulty to communicate the full story ( business windup ) to her… took quite some time. Not the same as what you faced, but airing this gives me some relief…

yes, if uber drive holds the decision power where to go, who to drop first… then really screwed up… i always tot this is dictated by some ‘smart’ uber routing algorithm … going north from gleneagles to seletar and then back south to bishan is lousy routing for human or computer.

agreed, parent needs to lead by example, as kid learns from examples. From confucius, 己所不欲，勿施于人 “What you do not want done to yourself, do not do to others”… always told my kid that.
