You sell your school’s notes just like a thief. Think of it before you do. No moral!

RE: Young people and stress
How long didn’t say ‘I love you.’ to your kids?
How long didn’t write love notes and put it in your kids’ pencil case?
How long didn’t have a warm dinner with your kids?
How long didn’t have your listening ears on your kids talking?
How long didn’t hug your kids?
How long didn’t appreciate what they did?
How long didn’t say ‘Thank you.’ to your kids when they help you?
How long didn’t …
Do it now. Never be late. Especially for boys, they seldom take initiative to start the conversation. Parents have to take initiative at the right place and right time to talk to them, even sometimes there are no any solution to, but at least they express.
Hope all parents spare their time to have quality time with their kids. -
RE: NUS High School of Mathematics and Science (Diploma)
Those studied well because they hv interest, love math and sci so much. Therefore they would like to put in effort. So, do remember that the 6 yrs school life in NUSH is not relaxing or it is a way to escape O and A levels.
If u notice, NUSH accept lesser students in recent years including Yr 3 input. They select students carefully these two years.
If u can be selected, do consider carefully. It is really a good school. Lesser competition, more concentration on yr study. (For RI, RGS, HCI, NGHS …, students hv to be the top certain % to get into the subjects they like, however, in NUSH, u can choose what u like if yr results reach certain level, no quota limited. Soooooo gooooood.) -
RE: NUS High School of Mathematics and Science (Diploma)
Dear All
I really want to emphasis that DO NOT PREPARE YOUR CHILD FOR NUS HIGH SCHOOL DSA as it will confuse you and your child if he/she is really suitable for this special school.
If you prepare him/her by sending him/her to those so-called tuition agency which can train your kid for NUS High DSA, or throw him/her a lot of secondary school textbooks and push/force him/her to memorise, you definitely will REGRET. As the DSA questions are logical base. Most of the questions are based on PSLE topics, however, they are deeper than P6 level. Those questions can be solved by scientific-minded kids. (not die die memorise, actually, most of the questions not knowledge required)
If your trained child (not really love maths and science) accidentally get into this school, they may be suffered for 6 years or will withdraw by Yr 3 or Yr 4. They may not happy with the school, their projects, … eventually even may cause depression.
Dear parents, please think thoroughly before you prepare your child or send them to tuition agency. Discuss with them to see if they really want to specialise in maths or science.
One thing I can tell is that NUS High teachers are really good, sourceful and helpful. Most of them are young and energetic. They even arrange a PhD teacher to teach Yr 1 students. He can answer all their challenging questions with humble attitude.
Every parent wants to give the best to their child. But … not everyone can take it.
Hope what I share can help. -
