My DD will be attending NUSH next year. Can anyone help me with the following questions on school uniform for NUSH?

      (a) Other than at NUSH, where else can I purchase the school uniform?
      (b) I understand that NUSH allow students to wear sports shoes during school. Must the sport shoes be white? Can it be coloured?

      Thanks in advance.
You may check out Intrend Uniform,s located in Geylang. The website is http://www.intrenduniforms.com.sg

The school is not very strict with shoes, sport shoes with some colours are acceptable.

      Hope this helps.

Refer to the school website at http://www.highsch.nus.edu.sg on admission and application info. All your questions will be answered there.

                  Dear Mummies Sun_2010 & uhoobus,

Thank you for replying my daughter's question.

She was having a difficult time deciding between RGS and NUS High. Your answers helped her to make up her mind -- next year, she will be joining your kids at NUS High! :rahrah:

Great choice!. At RGS she will be just somebody among 450 girls fight and jostle for every things . At NUSH, she will be among the darlings of NUSH - somehow (as minority) they are always spurred to do their best - to be among the cream and the very best among their cohort every year - ever since the school started!! :rahrah:

what is the actual office number for this school? calling them either noone answers or some funny people seemed not trained in picking up telephone call.

Its a happy choice to make as both are very good schools. Its more of what suits the child's tempermant and what they expect of out of the schooling experience.

DD was in a similar situation couple of years ago. She too decided on NUSH , and we thought if she feels she doesnt fit then we can take a call in Y2 and apply for RGS Sec 3 intake. But she was so involved experiencing life at NUSH we did not even think about it. Yeah ! So far so good.

All the best to your DD.

btw - uhoobus is a student I think
