• RE: All About Kids' Eye-sight

      Hello All,

I am a mother of 2 kids. Been reading the recent messages till the latest posts and like to seek some advices/help here. I am wondering if the Ortho-K lenses, these hard night lenses will help slow down my kids’ myopia & astigmatism progression.

Also looking for clinics recommendations? Any parents out there can share with me your good/ bad experience?

      Thank you.

    • RE: 2018 P1 registration exercise for 2019 intake

This amazes me because my nephews are at St. G and that school was a \"last choice\" for their parents during their 2CS phase, having been balloted out of other preferences in Phase 2B and 2C. Amazing phenomenon with the dragon year. I wonder if the next dragon year will see history repeating itself - surprised that even our generation is still into these \"auspicious years\". :scratchhead:
SG50 babies is more than dragon year..which is my 2nd kid !! Think even go do parent volunteer also not guaranty got vacancy.
Do take a look, birth data can be found here ,

Oh meaning all they ballot all the within 1km and 1-2KM together?

Hi Brendawanwan, If those within 1Km need to ballot, then those within 1-2Km do not get to ballot. There is school which will advise them (1-2km grp) to reg elsewhere if balloting is to be carried out for the within 1Km grp.

    • RE: Nan Chiau Primary

Hi All, keen to understand more abt NCPS, given that this year is dragon year registration, i guess there is high chance needing to ballot for <1km in phase 2B. Like to get an insight/better understanding of how likely phase 2B, <1km will be over-applied (eg 150%)? Had take a quick look at past yr ballot history, beside 2012 and 2014, NCPS need to ballot for Phase 2B, 1-2km. Wonder which year is a good reference to look at, given quite a number of new public/private housings had TOP-ed recently. Thks in adv.
