ChiefKiasu:So much talk about bread arh? Since it only cost list $2 per commercial loaf that means you must bake at least 200 times to make back your investment in the machine... and that is discounting the cost of the ingredients. Sure anot?

IMHO and experience, Sep is not the time for crash course or intensive revision.
Ideally the Sep holidays should be used to recharge. After that there will be prelims papers to try out and PSLE Oralsโฆ
My DD took the PSLE last year(2010). What we did for DD was take a total no books/ studies hols for 3-4 days - chilled at Sentosa chalet. And took it easy for the rest of the holidays. Of course it depends a lot on the child- DD is a self motivated kid who pushes herself so it was important for the her to peak for the PSLE than be burnt out or become too anxious.
I was a bit worried wondering if it was right strategy, but it has worked out very well for her. She is a bright student and she has done us proud this PSLE.
