Hi, chanced upon this thread and I thot I should share my experience and compliments. 4 yrs ago i was in this forum searching for math tuition for my DD2. While daddy is good in Math and never sweat at coaching DD1, we found it somewhat challenging coaching our DD2. Read some recommendations and found the small group coaching at PSLEMath to be suitable so we signed her up in P3. The small group coaching (max 6) is good, teacher was able to make sure the kids really understand the concepts, practice application before trying out the more challenging questions. My DD2 did consistently well since then, and I think she had her foundation well built during her time at PSLE. She achieved A* in her PSLE Maths last yr. I have to compliment her teacher of 4 yrs, Teacher Kaiser@MP branch. I must say, the teachers are patient and takes extra time to coach the weaker students. My DD2 had enjoyed her lessons at PSLEMath and still speaks fontly of the teachers there.

RE: PSLE Intensive Preparation Programmes
Seeking feedback on Mindstretcher 's Power Up for the PSLE one-day workshop
Hi,
has any parent had their child attended the one-day \"Power-Up\" workshops for PSLE students run by Mindstretcher?
The workshop is a one-day event held at the MS Seminar Room. I believe the teaching is a mass approach with no individual attention, and I would like to know if this is effective.
Grateful for some feedback from those who have attended one of such workshops.

RE: The Alternative Story (TAS) - Discussion
sorry, some mis-communication…
Grp discount will be applicable for grp of 4 for any of the holiday intensive prog across levels/locations;
Grp discount is only applicable to same group/class for P6 intensive writing prog.
hope this clarifies.
I already have 4 names for the holiday prog, but not the P6 intensive writing class. -
RE: The Alternative Story (TAS) - Discussion
Hi catddy2002<
Just PM you. Our child need not go for the same branch/timing for the holiday program. As long as we both submit our child's details to TAS they will process based on Early Bird Group discount.
I think they have changed the rules, I've just been informed by TAS that all 4 must enrol in the same programme and class in order to enjoy group discount.
I need 2 more to form a group of 4 for the following classes:
P6 Paper 2 Intensive - 8/9 June Parkway
P6 Creative Writing & Oral - 11/12 June Parkway
Interested party pls pm qms or me.
thanks! -

Raisintan,Hi experienced parents,
Would like to know if most hotels have heaters that are warm enough. Can the kids wear normal long sleeve cotton pajamas to sleep?
Am also getting worried cos many people are telling me that Korea winter is super cold. Not sure if I should prepare more winter clothes for my kids. We are going with a tour group so may not have flexibility of shopping time.
Appreciate any advice. Thanks
normal long sleeve pajamas are fine, hotels have heater in the rooms so can wear normal clothes. The floorings are warm too.
do prepare sufficient winter clothing for outdoors, is very very cold here. Buy hand warmers (those sand pack from Daiso), very good for keeping hands warm.
Neck warmer or mufflers are a must, good to have something to cover face n neck to keep away from the wind.
we r in Seoul now, flying out tomorrow. Have Fun!! :rahrah: -
