Thanks for the share bookworm1967! Really lovely! I saw this promotion about p;log on other sites too! Quite interesting, about the promotions/contests, has anyone here enter it?? :xedfingers:
I saw this promotion/contest on my timeline, quite nice ahh I think. Yea I'm trying to get feedback too before actually submitting anything or creating anything. Any feedback would be a great help! :rahrah:
I did submit mine not long ago, it's really simple, just send your pic to the email (on the poster). The hard part is trying to get likes, well it depends on whether you have a big group of supporter to help you like your picture hahahaha! I have not try creating the photo book though, maybe soon, then I will give you guys the feedback hopefully! :imcool: :salute: -
RE: How to help my kids to develop a good hobby ?
Try going into different categories, like sports or arts (in the term of crafts) or performing arts! I’m sure they would stick to and love one of the activities and can take up as a hobby!

RE: Suggestions to improve your kids' creativity?

Hahahha! I really am intrigued with the 'scraps' idea, I remembered doing pressed dried flowers scrapbook when we were little. I understand how it may be considered 'rubbish' hahaha! I really love all the ideas on these thread, just that finding time to do it...is really difficult :slapshead: :lightrod:We did more puppets than scrapbooking when my kids were small (preschool). They would draw the characters on paper/card and colour them in and I would cut them out and paste them on chopsticks, leaving enough sticking out for them to hold. They would perform by going behind the sofa and sticking the puppets above sofa back. We also tried using old socks for sock puppets, but they were harder to design and required too much sewing.
For scrapbooks, ours were really 'scraps'. My kids would collect leaves and twigs, keep bits of wrappers etc, and just paste them on paper to make pictures or whatever, and then we would paste them on doors which served as their 'gallery'. They had a lot of fun although my mum was always trying to stop my kids keeping all that 'rubbish'! -

I think it's a good idea to make something with our kids, but I think the most important thing is patience.
I agree! No patience > you will get frustrated > your child will get frustrated then all hell will break loose -.- -
RE: Techie Child
I think there must be extreme management of time and guidance that parents must stick to when allowing their children to use all this gadgets and technology.

RE: How to destress?
To destress from everyday stressful business management which is soooo sian, I depend on family bonding time at night. Sometimes a simple family movie/tv night is enough to get rid of my stress.
At times, simple craft activities, like sewing, decorating the house would make me feel like 'WOOOAAHHH I feel good!'. Also,at the moment, I'm using this decoration-photobook platform by p;log (I've found this on another thread, http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/forum/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=50932 ) to create my own photobook online. Quite nice lehhh, go ahead and try it!
Don't get to stress up okay guys! Enjoy life and dont let the stress bring you down!!
