CCA are during school hours. Mondays if I’m not wrong. But CCAs that requires additional training eg sports or aesthetic groups will have to stay back on other days. Usually another extra day but if nearing competitions, the frequency will increase.

During the P1 orientation, the school will provide a list of the bus operators' contacts in various areas. You can contact the bus operators then! 🙂

There is very minimal homework for the first 1 to 2 years in PL. I am unsure about further up as my daughter is only P2. The girls are usually given time during class to finish up their work. They only bring home if they cannot finish which is rather minimal. In fact, I feel that missionary schools are not so academically driven - they focused alot more holistic development of the child and provide them opportunities in the curriculum to find out their interests and strengths 🙂

No chance as Singaporean children within 1km also need to ballot. PRs are placed after Singaporean ie. After Singaporeans staying more than 2km. Prob can think about other schools in that area?

School hours ends at 1.40pm daily. P1 unlikely to stay back after school unless they are weak in some subjects (the minority) or if she chooses to do cca (these are fun cca for 10 weeks only and only offered once during P1).

Have to check if there are sch buses who go cbd area as I am unsure. Most Pl girls go to student care opposite the school. I think in the long run is better. Older girls will start to have supplementary classes, cca which ends at around 3.45pm. Sometimes school buses won’t fetch if too little students. So if you put in student care just opposite the school, the student care staff will still walk over to fetch your child. But you got to think about how to rush there to pick her up after work…

Thanks! Is this the typical achievement? That around 28 scoring 250 and above for past years?

If within 1km requires balloting, 1 to 2km has no chance at all. In the past, the balloting is also for 1km SC. In fact, schools may advise you to withdraw and try other schools.
