Very useful table, Nebbermind.

For NJC, do they have a camp of sorts? Thought they used to have some team building activities or something followed by the interview in the past?

Nebbermind, great piece of work. Thank you

Jtoh, they have changed the activities to essay writing this year. New principal new method.

OIC. Thanks. How's the new Principal?
Impression based on open house seems ok. He stressed on the point that it must be the kids' will to join the school and parents must think twice if their kids can fit into the school.

From what we heard from teacher, he is student oriented, he will sit at the canteen and students can go up to him to talk. Probably part of the reason why interviews are conducted by him personally.

Anybody received notifications to go for the Interview stage at NYGH? Have been waiting for a long time, yet no news. Some people have heard from them, but wondering why they get called first. Some went for the interview yesterday, and then there was an even earlier batch. Are they calling their first choice pupils first?

Why don't u just call the school and ask.

Was there yday. There were both academic n cca interviews. Today I heard are gep interviews. Was helping a fren asked they just gave standard answer on still calling n interview still on going.

Not sure any more tml n next tue.

This is a most informative forum. Many people are sharing useful information but recently this thread is becoming unpleasant.

We are all parents of kids taking PSLE 2014. Let’s just give the best support to our kids and parents whom we are sharing the "kan cheongness" together.

Geppers or MS kids , all are putting in great effort for the final hurdle PSLE. DSA process is almost coming to an end.

Congratulations to all kiddos who received COs.

Those who are going for interviews, relax and all the best.

For those who has yet to hear any news, this is a warm up, let’s work hard for the final target.

I am looking forward to more announcement of COs. Jia you!

      Reporting here too.

DD will be trying for NYGH and NJC.

NJC will be via academic since stage 1 is based on HAST.

NYGH will be via DSA sports.

Just wondering if any other parents applying DSA sports. I heard so much about school giving invitation letters but to date my DD has not received any though she attained gold in individual sports for national.

Hi, I have a few qns re tomorrow's CCA orientation. If my dd had decided to sign up for the CCA which is the same as her previous school, can she go straight to this particular CCA booth to submit her option form? Does she have to stay back to view all the CCAs till 4pm? Can she leave after she has decided? Her school bus is not sending the kids home after extra activities in school for this week. I thought of bringing her home if she's decided and done before 4pm. Thanks.

Actually my daughter already joined CCA since P2. Does it means she does not need to stay ? Anyway she has practice from 2 to 5 pm for her Guzheng

Oh no my girl as sotong as ever lor. Never hear her talk about the forest adventure and small class party woh

A consent form was given for the Forest Adventure. The 3Rs will be going tomorrow. Do check with your dd. Today is Amazing Race. This week is so fun! 😉

I believe the Forest Adventure & Amazing Race are part of the orientation program for the GEP & META classes. CHI having class party tmrw & going Forest on Friday. Yes, this week is a FUN week for them. 🕺 Next week they have CNY cookies demo on Friday.
Relieved to hear that so my dd is not so sotong after all. For her she is ok to go without the forest adventure, she tried that and totally chicken out
Lizhi, my dd and I are both shocked to hear what happened to your gal...

Thank you for your concern. Yes, I agee that the school bus drivers should check that the right pupils boarded the bus.

My p5 dd also got caught in the same situation ...
This school really tests our independence?

Glad your gal made it home safely! ...
Haha your ds is so cut, he even forgot his snack. really he like playing games that much?

Anyway, my dd is very excited about the following activities on the next few days. Though she boarded the wrong bus and lost her way to her classroom, she’s still happy and excited about the Amazing Race on Wednesday, the small class party on Thursday and the Forest Adventure on Friday. Quite a lot of activities, and not one week has passed!

I'll second that. First day of school and DS says he's enjoying it. Came back home to learn about the Amazing Race, the Forest Adventure and the \"small class party?\". Geez, if I'm still in school, I will be enjoying it too!
Oh no my girl as sotong as ever lor. Never hear her talk about the forest adventure and small class party woh
