The centres that take sanitisation/hygiene seriously and standing by their practice of insisting a parent bringing their ill child home are the ones to practice ‘good safety precautions’!


It’s not the centres that causes HFMD, it’s a viral strain. It’s not the centres that spread the bug, it’s the irresponsible parents who insist their child are well when there are obvious symptoms the child is not. Ensuring your child is home when unwell is a major contributing factor to the prevention of spreading ANY bug, not just HFMD! Just as you don’t want another unwell child to pass on the bug to yours, that should also be the same standard for any parent!

Just get the agent to handle such problems. After all, you’ve paid agency fees.


We tried handling the maid problems ourselves but found out, they’ll just take advantage of you. Don’t waste your time and stress out unnecessarily-get agent to solve!

The maids will always have 1 trick after another, having forgotten however good you’ve treated them!

I use StorHub in Changi. The out of way ones are cheaper, if you have a car, like Pasir Panjang or Changi. The centralized ones tend to be more expensive.
