Did you access the mailbox from a web browser to ensure IMAP was enable?

I would like to ask you 1 technical question regarding about the MSHS gmail system. Currently I realised that the student has to login the school website and check the emails online. Is it possible to setup any mail clients (e.g : outlook, mail..etc) and access the emails?

I tried setting up using Outlook client since I have Office 365. Followed all the steps and instructions but still doesn't work.

I have turned on IMAP in DS gmail security settings before proceeding the below.
Incoming IMAP server: IMAP.gmail.com
Port: 993

Outgoing SMTP server: SMTP.gmail.com
Port: 465 and I tried 587 also doesn't work.

Username I used DS email address as instructed.

Make sure that you enable IMAP in Gmail from a web browser.

Sign into your DS gmail. There is an email to do the AUP test. However, when submit the form, the system returns with - you have already submitted the test.


So not sure if the second attempt results is recorded or not.

He received an reminder email to complete the test by yesterday, but there is no link in that email. Maybe there is another first email which he did not receive.

DS said can do the IT test online but he could not find the link. Can anyone here help?

From personal experience, even scoring A* for normal chinese may not be good enough to take HCL. DD and DS pri sch only starting to offer HCL at P5, both took HCL at P5 and pulled out after a year. DD failed her HCL and DS was last among the whole level. However, DD and DS scored A* and A in PSLE respectively. Just my personal experience and not to discourage others.
