Hi,ToonArmy:
You can load the pages in the textbook? I can't today. Not sure why.
Today my DS ebook is not loading. Used to be ok. How did u manage to resolve yours?
Btw, the ebook is able to load in parent account but not the student account.
I came out with a workaround and it works for me. So just would like to share the findings and hope it will work for you guys too.
Step 1 : Clear all the history and data under safari (or your default browser)
Step 2 : Re-install the flipviewerXpressMAC
Step 3 : After installation, you should be able to load the textbook
Step 4 : Bookmark the url (e.g. : my installation is from the download folder so my url link is file:///Users/student/Downloads/nsmtb1/flipviewerxpress.html)
Step 5 : Just recall this bookmark from the browser when u need to use the book.
*note : I am not sure you can skip step 1-3 and go direct to step 4 by just changing the url and bookmark it accordingly. You may want to give it a try.
Regards,
Sam
Thanks a lot Sam.
It works!!!
I cleared the safari history and now it works perfectly. -

Have not resolved the issue to-date. I chose the easy way out. Bought another Math text book. Asked DS to leave one in his locker and another one at home. :xedfingers:
Whoa. Expensive way.ToonArmy:

To all the new mummies...
FYI... There will be a Fun Food Fest event on this Friday between 9.30am-11am.
DS can buy food such as subway sandwiches, pizza, bubble tea etc.
I will be doing my 1st PV for this event

Is it? Didn't hear boy mention anything abt it. Will ask him tomorrow. Prepare to give him more money to make purchases. -

Hi,
Big Congratulations, you have done very well and I am sure your family and school feel proud of your great achievement.Internal Strife:
Hi everyone. I am an Ex-Marist and I graduated from Maris Stella in 2014. I have just received back my O level result. Regarding the question about how we did for the GCE 2014 O Level Examination, generally, I feel that every Marist has done well for this examination. Personally, I got 7A1s for my O level.
On a side note, would any parent (whose child is in Sec 4 this year) like to take some of the prelim papers that I have. These papers aren't touched at all and I feel that it would be best if I just gave them to my juniors. I have prelim papers for Addtional Mathematics and Mathematics.
I would like to ask you 1 technical question regarding about the MSHS gmail system. Currently I realised that the student has to login the school website and check the emails online. Is it possible to setup any mail clients (e.g : outlook, mail..etc) and access the emails?
Thanks,
Sam
I tried setting up using Outlook client since I have Office 365. Followed all the steps and instructions but still doesn't work.
I have turned on IMAP in DS gmail security settings before proceeding the below.
Incoming IMAP server: IMAP.gmail.com
Port: 993
Outgoing SMTP server: SMTP.gmail.com
Port: 465 and I tried 587 also doesn't work.
Username I used DS email address as instructed.
Not sure why it doesn't work. :? -

Try the steps in http://www.howtogeek.com/174837/how-to- ... sing-imap/
Make sure that you enable IMAP in Gmail from a web browser. -
Yes, the steps shown are similar if not exactly the same as what I have done. I tried on both MacAir and Surface Pro on Windows platform. Both didn’t work.

Did you access the mailbox from a web browser to ensure IMAP was enable?
