I’m enrolling my child to Elfa Serangoon next year.

This is the first time my kid is going to CC, im not very familiar with the usual practice. From what I understand, we need to supply a bath towel which should be brought bk and a new one brought to school everyday. That’s a lot of changes of towels! Can I ask do you provide yr child a full size towel or a smaller one will be sufficient?

I’m looking for part time cleaning once a week near Upper Paya Lebar Rd. Weekday mornings.

Mainly ironing/changing of bed linen/washing of toilets.
Willing to pay $50/4hrs…

Just want to ask, if she brings the maid to agency --will she get the remainder of the maid loan back?

How i long to go maidless in SGP.


I have 3 kids, 4,6,8. I have had helpers since my 2nd kid came along.
So far, i am into my 5th maid...she just came 1.5 months and i cannot tahan her.

Today, she made my husband angry because she voiced her unhappiness to wash the car.
So, my husband asked me to start looking for another one.

I discussed with him whether we could go maidless...before this 5th maid came, we survived 3months without helper... and i loved it. although it was super duper tiring, i bonded more with my kids and enjoyed the privacy alot.
But, Hubby not keen. He wants a maid and acknowledged he is very lazy, he does not want to be burdened with housework after a full work day.
I feel very sian, coz after spending thousands of dollars, there is not guarantee that the maid will be of good help...

How to persuade him to go maidless
