Anna Ng:Yes you are absolutely correct. 18 seats each under phase 2B and phase 2C. If there are 3 or less Grassroots Leaders or applicants who missed the earlier phases and applying under phase 2B, then all the PVs will be in. Otherwise, there will be balloting.Meowie:Least all who did PV can get into SV and like those who stay less than 1km and did not do PV still get a chance to ballot to get in
not really in this case, if i m not wrong the 36 seats will be divided into 2 between P2B and P2C, that's mean only 18 seats available for P2B. Furthermore P2B open for those CC members also. Correct me if i am wrong

How's the queue? -
RE: [Choa Chu Kang] Primary Schools
The school only accepted 15 PVs so as long as phase 2A2 end with 30 or more vacancies, there’s no need to ballot for phase 2B.

RE: South View Primary
Don’t mention it.
The upgrading works will be done on-site with no change to single session. There aren’t enough classrooms to accommodate all the pupils from both sessions : ) -
RE: South View Primary
As at this moment, SV will likely be going single session only in 2016. However, the school is scheduled for on-site upgrading end 2012 and expect to last 1 or 2 years. The upgrading may afford the transition to single session earlier but definitely not next year nor the year after.

RE: [Choa Chu Kang] Primary Schools
All schools gotta go single session by a certain deadline (forgot the year..) and so they got to factor in that there will be sufficient classes for the number of students offered to study there each year.
Initially the dateline for all primary schools to go single session was 2016. Earlier this year, it was delayed to 2017. -

Hmmm.... May I ask how did you arrive at this figure of 165 vying for 89 places?tanadi:
I would definately prefer Concord or CCK primary, if I had a choice. But there is one more phase to go - Phase 2C supplementary. Am just looking for options, in case these two schools get filled. I stay close to both these schools. Are there any good schools in Bukit Panjang area, which are open for phase 3??
there will be 165 vying for 89 places in P2Cs in CCK.
:x :x
please be prepare for schools that required travel for your son.
