U may want to put waitlist in other schools as well cos chances of getting into Nanyang is slim. Usually siblings fill up quickly.. Nanyang intake goes by phases

RE: Andrew Er Learning Hub - Discussion
Learning Lab requires child to go through Placement Test. Understand Learning Lab is known for picking 'cream' of e crop. Good Luck!  No harm putting yr child into waiting list. Waiting period can be up to 1.5 years!

RE: Andrew Er Learning Hub - Discussion
Yes Learning Point @ Thomson Plaza is also a highly sought after enrichment centre. They too have to go thru Placement Test before child is accepted.
Child has to know A-Z sounds, write own name.
As for Maths, must at least know up to 20, problem sums, number bonds as well. Therefore it’s wise to practise with child. -
RE: Andrew Er Learning Hub - Discussion
Hi!
So far the feedback abt Andrew Er has been positive and parents r happy with e centre. I'm also considering sending my child to Andrew Er. Placement Test is required.
For P1 English, any parents send their children to Morris Allen, Lorna Whiston or Learning Lab? Any feedback! Thanks! -

RE: Barker Road Methodist Church Kindergarten (BRMCK)
Hi kaitlynangelica,
Yes Poonie is right, i heard from parents there it's compulsary. $150 building fund. And school fees is also subjected to GST.
Enrichment lessons don't come cheap too and it's 8 lessons only for per term. Nanyang Kindergarten do have enrichment like calligraphy, strings, Gymnastic, Wushu etc.. Wow! Impressive!
Is Nanyang Kindergarten better than Barker Kindergarten ( Anglo-Chinese School Building ) in terms of curriculum? P/s note: There is no affiliation to ACS.
Any comments? -
