    • RE: Admiralty Primary

Hi everyone! 😄 My SG50 daughter's registration will be next year and we are leaning towards Admiralty Primary as it is within 1km. However, i noticed that their school hours are pretty long as compared to many other schools.

      For P1 and P2 levels:
      10am to 2.40pm on Mondays
7.30am to 2.10am on Tuesdays to Fridays

      For P3 and up:
      7.30am to 2.40pm on Mondays
7.30am to 2.10am on Tuesdays to Fridays

Many other schools dismiss the children by 1+ which makes alot of difference for them to get home early to rest.

Anyone has kids in Admiralty, please share your thoughts about this. Is there any reason why the dismissal is late?

      Thanks! :rahrah:

    • RE: 2021 P1 Registration Exercise for 2022 In-take

Hi mummies! I am so glad i found this thread as i really need some advice from all the experienced ones here! My SG50 girl’s P1 registration starts next year. We stay in Woodlands but very keen in Methodist Girls School. If i do parent volunteer for MGS, what are the chances of me getting through given the history and also my child being a SG50 baby? The only chance for that school would be through Phase 2B by parent volunteering, as we do not qualify for distance. And i understand that if there are too many applications for Phase 2B, it would end up in balloting, and when balloting comes in they will only consider those within short distance?

    • RE: Northland Primary

Hi all! 🙂 My daughter is a 2015 baby and we are quite keen in Northland Primary for her P1 registration in mid 2021. As we do not qualify in the distance criteria (more than 3km away), the only way is to do PV. We are singapore citizens. Could we get advice on the chances of getting a place and the probability of it ending up in a balloting situation for PV stage? Thanks!
