    • RE: how much do u spend on groceries

With the flooding in thailand, which is a big exporter of rice, i think there will still be an increase in rice prices sooner or later

When is the right time to start tuition?

when is it too early? i know some parents that start in kindergarten.
In singapore’s competitive education system can the parent afford not to send the kids for tuition?

    • RE: PSLE 2012 - child has no interest to study

the TV is the first thing that needs to go during the study period.

alot of times it is true that the child cannot see the need to study, or the repercussions of not studying.
a heart to heart talk like previously mentioned might help in your child understanding why theres a need to study. goal setting is very important also

When is it too early to start tuition?

some ppl feel starting too early is a bad thing, is it necessary to have enrichment or "tuition" for kids as early as pre-sch or pri 1?

    • RE: Oxley Bizhub

Oxley bizhub is for light industry. can’t do actual retail there (cash transactions)

it is zoned as business one. they are trying something new with the facilities etc (gym, pool) but it all depends on what you want to do with the unit. keep in mind that for commercial industrial units, the lifts are very important, and oxley seems to be lacking in that sense, also where containers can enter is also important, oxley only has container access for the lower section (warehouse) if you take the upper floors, there is no container access. also take note of the power source, i believe oxely’s is too low.

though that being said, it is expected to command a higher rental price, but take note of the rental prices at vertex (nearby) and the surrounding area.

    • RE: When to start giving Allowance?

i think at the beginning they will spend their money on nonsense, but once they have a goal, like something they really wanna buy, that’s when the chance to teach them about saving money comes in. That immediate gratification is not always the best thing

    • RE: At what age yr child should start dating?

I personally think the later the better, but then its up to the kids, we don’t know what they do once they leave the house, all we can do is educate them and hope for the best
