      DaddyD:

Time to think of the 6 school choices... :yikes:

Don't know where to start without knowing PSLE score...

What we did was make a long list covering the range of possible scores we thought our daughter might get. Then when the actual score was known, we selected 6 from the relevant part of that list. Save some time to be able to prepare in advance.

      :udawoman:

We only have 2 school choices in mind after visiting the open houses... if DD maintains similar results.
The others just choose randomly? :faint:

    • RE: Games at NUS orientation camps sexualised

      I agree "Power corrupts…"

These student leaders don’t know how to handle the power that they have, and will probably progress up the corporate ladders and continue to abuse their power. Same for the rest who supported the ideas, kept quiet and participated.
All these kids involved should be counciled.
Much focus/changes have been on Preschool/Pri schools.
Time to re-look at the secondary/jc/uni.

    • RE: Q&A - P5 Math

In the first week, Gemma baked some cookies where 35% of them are chocolate chips and the rest are oatmeal.

In the second week, the percentage of chocolate chips she baked increased by 40% but the percentage of oatmeal cookies decreased by 5%.
In the end, she baked 43 more cookies in the second week than in the first day.
How many chocolate chip cookies did she bake in the second week?

      TIA!

The cost of each stapler is $0.20 more than the cost of each pen. Each pen costs twice as much as each pencil. The total cost of 5 such staplers, 4 such pens and 2 such pencil is $1.80 more than the total cost of 4 such staplers, 2 such pens and 4 such pencils. Find the cost of each pen.

      TIA!

The cost of 17 erasers and 9 pens is $10.85.

The cost of 4 erasers and 8 pens is $5.20.
      A) what is the cost of 36 erasers and 72 pens?
      B) how many erasers can be bought with $40?

      TIA
