Hi Aaris, you may want to drop by for the open house on 16th July morning to know more~ Seems like not many active participants in Oasis Primary forum too.. Alternatively, just try your luck under Horizon as your 1st choice (Phase 2C) and Oasis as the 2nd choice (Phase 2C Supplementary)..

Hihi.. I will try to help on your doubts.. For your question on how to be PV, you can check under Parent tab in their school website (https://horizonpri.moe.edu.sg/2014-06-0 ... ct/join-pc). As for the chances for PV to secure a place under phase 2B, based on a post of the history of balloting results for the past 10 years (http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/conte ... ption-risk) by the site admin ChiefKiasu, there is no balloting involved, so there is a high chance to secure a place under phase 2B (within 1 km). For your 3rd question, you may email [email protected] and ask.. Hope I helped~

Hihi rainbobo~ I have posted some questions for the parents of current students in Oasis but seems to have received no feedback. But I did a simple research and found out that Oasis Primary seems to have a lot of vacancies in 2015 (But it is a new school that opens in 2014/2015 so maybe it is too early to tell). And the current principal comes from Naval Base Primary School (You can check at Naval Primary School forum for the principal review or you can based on past ratings of Naval Base to rate the school). So to be frank, I would consider Oasis as my 2nd choice school. And since your girl is studying Pei Chun Public School, if I were you, I will not change her school at all (Pei Chun is a very very very good school). But the ultimate choice lies on you. Hope my 2 cents worth of opinion helps~

A certified true copy of the Sales and Purchase document is required if the address of a yet-to-be completed private property is used for registration. The date of commitment by the developer in the Temporary Occupation Permit (T.O.P.) has to be within two years of the child’s entry into Primary One. In the case of a yet-to-be completed HDB flat, the Customer Copy or Specimen Copy of the Agreement for Lease is required. The Delivery Possession Date of the flat has to be within two years of the child’s entry into Primary One.

Parents must move into the new property within two years of the child’s entry into Primary One.

how do i get a certified copy ?? i doubt i can just photocopy the original sale and purchase document right ? or they just need to see the agreement
and that also mean that i cannot register online right ?

I am not sure whether I can help but as I checked in MOE site below, it says that you will have to produce the original of each required document that the child is successfully registered into, when requested by the school or upon reporting to the school. For the certified true copy, maybe you can check with the authority whom you have bought the yet-to-complete property? Maybe they can certify for you? Alternatively, you can check with the school whether you can bring down the original document when reporting to the school. Hope this helps.

This is embarrassing... It is not tasty in water. Didn't keep up the 1 teaspoon/day..[/quote]I put mine in Ribena and make it soak inside for 15-20mins.. I like my drink after that because it sort of gave a thicker texture to the Ribena~~

Hi mummies and daddies of current Oasis P1 batch… My sis will be moving to Punggol soon and she is interested to put her daughter in Oasis Primary School. Can give us some feedback on the below:-


- How is the homework load? Is it manageable?
- Is the school focus academically? Or it is leaning towards fun-learning?
- Is there higher Chinese from Pri 1 onwards?
- Are there regular updates of the child’s performance in school provided to parents?
- How is the after school care (YMCA)? Do they supervise the kids to finish all the homework before proceeding to the enrichment activities?

Appreciate replies on the above to decide whether it is the right choice to put her daughter in this school. Thanks a lot in advance!!
