I keep getting this prompt when testing the account setup but I have already entered the password correctly.
For the school gmail, the password is still the same old initial password. The school ICT commented that user currently cannot change gmail password online and have to be done with the help of administrator at school.

      Internal Strife:
Hi everyone. I am an Ex-Marist and I graduated from Maris Stella in 2014. I have just received back my O level result. Regarding the question about how we did for the GCE 2014 O Level Examination, generally, I feel that every Marist has done well for this examination. Personally, I got 7A1s for my O level.

On a side note, would any parent (whose child is in Sec 4 this year) like to take some of the prelim papers that I have. These papers aren't touched at all and I feel that it would be best if I just gave them to my juniors. I have prelim papers for Addtional Mathematics and Mathematics.
Big Congratulations, you have done very well and I am sure your family and school feel proud of your great achievement.

I would like to ask you 1 technical question regarding about the MSHS gmail system. Currently I realised that the student has to login the school website and check the emails online. Is it possible to setup any mail clients (e.g : outlook, mail..etc) and access the emails?

      Thanks,
      Sam

You can load the pages in the textbook? I can't today. Not sure why.

Today my DS ebook is not loading. Used to be ok. How did u manage to resolve yours?

Btw, the ebook is able to load in parent account but not the student account.

      Hi,

I came out with a workaround and it works for me. So just would like to share the findings and hope it will work for you guys too.

Step 1 : Clear all the history and data under safari (or your default browser)
      Step 2 : Re-install the flipviewerXpressMAC
Step 3 : After installation, you should be able to load the textbook
Step 4 : Bookmark the url (e.g. : my installation is from the download folder so my url link is file:///Users/student/Downloads/nsmtb1/flipviewerxpress.html)
Step 5 : Just recall this bookmark from the browser when u need to use the book.

*note : I am not sure you can skip step 1-3 and go direct to step 4 by just changing the url and bookmark it accordingly. You may want to give it a try.

      Regards,
      Sam

      Hi winnielml,

Why don't u consider putting ur girl at the student care centre (midview city, just beside aitong).. as it would be a better and safer environment for her.

The distance moved was not 21 km. It was based on whatever speed he was cycling at.

      haha.. u r confusing more.. 🙂

🙂 haha.. i still dont' quite agree to that.. coz by solving that way.. u mean Lim suddenly increase his speed to 20km/h on the last 7 km to achieve the 21 mins time. Sorry my mind is getting old.. still cannot see the valid point.. 🙂

My answer was to move Lim back to the mid-point, hence Mei also had to be moved backwards corresponding. As timeframe was unchanged, it would mean that Mei would take 10.5 minutes more to travel from where she was moved back to to the mid-point. Hence when Lim had completed the race, she would need a total of 21 minutes to reach the finishing line.

Same as my tutor's solution, Kiasuparent has assumed that Lim had continued with his cycling at the costant speed of 20 km/h. Lim travelled another 21 minutes at 20 km/h before Mei finally finished her cycling. [There was no increase in speed for Lim.]

hur ? I think u mixed up Lim and Mei. 🙂 secondly i don't agree ur assumption on moving Lim to half point and he would only take 10.5mins to cover the 3.5km, coz his speed was definitely slower than 20km/h.

      N3SKiasu:

The Speed question (if my DD remembered correctly):

Mei and Lin take part in a cycling race.
Mei's speed is 20km/h. When Lin travelled half of the distance, Mei was 3.5km in front of her.
Mei reached finishing line at 10.45am.
What time did Lin reach the finishing line?

Similar feedback - paper was tough, finished all but not a lot of time left to check through. Anyway, its over now, just move on and focus on next few papers.

So take the total distance to be 2 units.
When Mei travels 1 unit + 3.5km, lim would have travelled 1 unit.
When Mei travels 2 units + 7km, lim would have travelled 2 units. (just finished the race).

So Mei needs to overshot by 7km.

      Time = Distance/Speed = 7/20 hours = 7/20 x 60 = 21 minutes.

Lim needs to run 21 mins more.

      10.45 + 16 mins = 11.06am

Personally I still find this question 'unanswerable'.. Lim's speed is definitely slower than Mei's speed. So with the Lim's speed left unknown, how to know when Lim will finish the race? The 21mins is the time for Mei to cover the 7km with speed of 20km/h. So Lim will definitely take more than that. Any smart brains to help me clearing my doubts? 🙂
